Privacy Policy

How we handle your information.

What we collect, why, who processes it, and the choices you have — in plain English.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how baterias-veiculos.com ("we," "us," or "the site") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit the site, read our guides, or subscribe to receive the Free Certificate Directory and our email sequence. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

  • Email address (only if you subscribe). When you sign up for the Free Certificate Directory, we collect the email address you enter, and nothing else is required.
  • Technical and usage data. Like most websites, our servers and tools automatically record data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and which pages you visit. This is standard log and analytics information. Cloudflare Turnstile also processes limited browser and device signals when you use an email form so it can distinguish people from bots.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We and our advertising and analytics partners use cookies to run the site, measure traffic, and serve advertising. See "Cookies and How to Control Them" below.

Email: The Newsletter and Certificate Sequence

If you subscribe, your email address is processed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf. We use a double opt-in process: after you sign up, we send a confirmation email, and you are only added to our list once you click the confirmation link.

We use your email address for one purpose only: to deliver the Free Certificate Directory and the related educational email sequence and newsletter about free courses and certificates. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address. You can unsubscribe with one click from the link at the bottom of any email we send, and we will stop emailing you.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertising, which helps keep the site free. As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie and advertising ID cookies — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and others across the internet.
  • Personalized advertising cookies do not collect your name, address, email, or phone number.
  • You can turn off personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings.
  • You can opt out of third-party personalized advertising from participating vendors at www.aboutads.info.
  • More detail on how Google uses data from sites that use its services is at google.com/policies/technologies/partner-sites.

Analytics, Log Data, and Hosting

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and secure the site. We also use Google Tag Manager and associated analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages are read and how visitors arrive. This information is used in aggregate to improve the content and is not used to identify you personally.

Our email forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated submissions. Turnstile processes limited technical signals solely for security. Details are available in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Cookies and How to Control Them

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to keep the site working, to measure traffic, and — through Google AdSense — to serve advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can disable personalized ads using the links in the Advertising section above. Disabling cookies may change how parts of the site or its ads behave.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. We honor these regardless of location:

  • Email marketing (CAN-SPAM, United States). Every email includes a working unsubscribe link and our identity. We honor opt-out requests promptly and do not use deceptive subject lines or headers.
  • South Africa (POPIA). You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold, to correct or delete it, and to stop processing it for direct marketing. Unsubscribing stops all marketing email.
  • European Economic Area / UK (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to processing. Our lawful basis for email is your consent (given at double opt-in), which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at albertolinsap@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 (or under 13 in the United States). If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to Other Websites

Our guides link to third-party platforms such as edX, Coursera, Google, and university websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit from ours.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
